Jeff Heger is one of those detail guys. He loves it when the last shot on Friday afternoon, after a weeks worth of photography with a massive travel schedule, comes together, on time after is was planned weeks earlier. The people are great, products all work, the security guard lets us shoot, MAGIC happens. The client loves the images and we all go have a great dinner.
Heger has traveled the planet shooting for Fortune 500 firms for over 25 years. He has worked on every continent except Antarctica (although he did shoot within 500 miles of Antarctica shores). Clients like the fact that nothing fazes him on location. He stays on time and on budget. His clients really like the fact that he brings back more useable images than they thought possible.
Heger started photography as a photojournalist at the Des Moines Resgister. He started to win awards as a college student winning the Iowa Press Photography Assoc. Student Photojournalist of the Year. He has continued with awards from Communication Arts, How Magazine, Print Regional Design Annual, Dallas Society of Visual Communications and Art Directors Club of Houston. He is one of the few to win a gold medal in still photography and video in the same year.
